Mail & Post Offices

Last updated 3 months ago

In case you want to send a message or item to someone who may not be online at the same time you are, you can now craft your own parcels/letters to send to them.

Basic Envelope

You can craft a basic envelope by combining a Book & Quill or Written Book with Paper in a Smithing Table.

Envelopes will remain "Unsealed" as long as you keep the book you use "Unsigned." You can always edit a letter if its Unsealed.

Basic Parcel

If you want to send items alongside the letter, you can create a parcel by combining a Bundle (with the item inside it) with Paper in a Smithing Table.

  • Add Resin Clump and Redstone to add a red Postage Seal to a letter/parcel for that finishing touch

Customizable Envelope Options

If you want to add some more variety to your mail, add some visual flair to your letters!

Post Boxes

Easily turn any barrel in to a Post Box and send and receive mail with ease. The plugin comes with built in post box protection and a mail notification system. These boxes can either be publicly assigned to a community designated "Public Post Office" or Privately assigned to a specific house or base.

To create a Post Box:

  1. Place a barrel with an empty sign on it.

  2. While looking at the barrel, enter the command: /postoffice register

  3. To claim that post box, while looking at the barrel, enter the command: /postoffice claim

Note: You are only able to claim one post box per player.

To remove a Post Box, look at the barrel and enter the command: /postoffice remove
