Encyclopedia

Welcome to the Rob World Encyclopedia. Rob World has a lot of custom content and re-balances. All of our changes try to achieve one or more of these four goals:

  1. Balance for Multiplayer: The vanilla game becomes significantly easier when playing with friends who might already have a significant head start. I want to try to re-balance the game so that even when joining late into the season, you still have to work for your gear.

  2. Extend the End-Game: The goal with RWMC isn't about speedrunning to the end. Player's focus should be more towards settling with friends, building a community, and inspiring others to build and survive together.

  3. Longevity: In most cases, when servers start feeling boring or uninteresting, world resets are considered. While it's the easiest option to keep things fresh for most players, I want to believe that there is a better way of keeping people engaged through competitions, events, and dynamic seasons.

  4. Fun: Not all changes have to be about balance. I also add content that I think is fun and adds to the experience of playing.
